Racial equality

Understanding race and racism and campaigning for racial equality fosters a just society. Young people can fight systemic inequalities and champion equal opportunities, learning how to challenge discrimination and work towards dismantling structural barriers impacting the lives of people of colour.

What are they doing?

The Senedd has committed to tackling structural and ethnic inequalities in Wales. The Race Equality Action Plan sets out to make meaningful and measurable changes to the lives of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people by tackling racism and achieving a Wales that is anti-racist by 2030.


What can you do?

You can promote racial equality in your community by becoming actively anti-racist, being an advocate for diversity. Championing race inclusion and taking a firm stand against racism are key to driving change and achieving racial equality in Wales, and beyond.
