Young people face health challenges and issues with access to healthcare. Depression, anxiety and other mental health disorders are amongst the leading causes of illness and disabilities for young people. Young people can campaign for health and mental health issues so everyone gets the support they need.

What are they doing?

The Welsh Government has issued A Healthier Wales—Our Plan for Health and Social Care after a parliamentary review. Public Health Wales are responsible for working together for a healthier Wales, and have developed a long-term strategy that aims to tackle mental and physical health issues and work toward a healthier future for Welsh people.


What can you do?

You can speak up about issues and concerns you have to do with physical and mental health, and NHS Wales have recently announced they are committed to a culture of speaking up, and to listening, learning and improving.
